FAQ

How do I place an order? You may fill our the online inquiry form, or send us a text or an email.

What about Food Allergies? We can leave meat, nuts and gluten off your order, but we work in a facility that also handles tree nuts and peanuts, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish and shellfish, and can’t guarantee no cross-contamination or trace amounts of these allergens.

How far in advance do I need to order? We love a good 24-48 hour notice, but we get it if you have a last minute gift/snack emergency (been there!) We will do our best to accommodate any last minute orders, but can’t guarantee that we will be able to accommodate. Contact Julie with your request!

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT US? Text Julie at (843) 425-7974 or Send us an email to TheGildedGraze@gmail.com for any questions, inquires or adjustments to your orders.

What’s the real difference between boards and boxes? ‘Boards’ are actually disposable, eco-friendly trays with lids. Their contents are practically identical to boxes, with the exception that our boards can more easily accommodate fresh fruit and veggies and dips.

Should I order a box or a board? Great question! Boxes are perfect for traveling and to be given as gifts. Boards/trays are perfect for an “instant party” if you’re entertaining at a home or at a venue and want a no-fuss, no-cleanup, delicious, crowd-pleasing option.

Can I make requests? You bet! Don’t like blue cheese or olives - no problem. Love soft, mild cheeses and have a sweet tooth? Let us know! Our number one goal is to make YOU happy.

Will my order look just like the boards pictured? No, but that’s part of the fun! They will not look exactly like the boards & boxes featured on our website because our products are constantly changing due to what is in season. We do, however, guarantee a board that is equally as thoughtful, beautiful and tasty!

What forms of payment do you accept? Cash, checks or Venmo is preferred. We can also send invoices which can be paid via credit/debit card upon request.

Can you accommodate large groups? Absolutely! Our largest boards accommodate 20+ people. For larger orders, we offer Grazing tables. These are beautiful, lush creations assembled on site at homes, businesses, wedding venues —you name it - for 35+ people. Contact us to inquire more and to reserve a date.

What if I have more questions? Just ask Julie! Send me an email or a text and ask away!

About

Welcome to the Gilded Graze! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Julie Stowers, and I am the founder of The Gilded Graze. I am a wife, a mom, a daughter, a friend, an animal lover, and a creator of serious snacks. I love to host gatherings from book club evenings, to birthday parties, to wine nights with my girlfriends and everything in between. Making people feel special and well cared for is deeply ingrained into my psyche. The path that led to The Gilded Graze has been a long and windy one, but really it’s a homecoming to my roots in the Culinary Arts.
My love for cooking and entertaining was complimented by an education in both Culinary Arts and Food & Beverage Management. In what seems like a lifetime ago, I even owned a little Italian restaurant on James Island called That’s Amore. Creating grazing boards has reinvigorated my passion for food and has been an extremely fulfilling endeavor both personally and professionally.
The name The Gilded Graze was inspired by my affection for the phrase “to gild the lily”, in other words to take something beautiful, such as a lily and to dip it in gold. This concept is exactly my approach to food, especially in the ‘grazing’ style of eating. I love to elevate my boards from something good into something extraordinary; and maybe even a tad unexpected. Every single one of my creations is a full expression of who I am. A lot of love and careful consideration goes into everything created in my kitchen. Thanks for stopping by and happy grazing! --Julie
